William Mullins is a 2017 graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville’s Master of Science program where he specialized in Adult Gerontologic Acute Care Nursing. During his studies, he completed rotations in Nephrology, Pulmonology, Cardiology, and General Medicine. Upon graduating, he gained his first year of CRNP experience in Anniston, Alabama with a Pulmonary medicine practice.
Wil began his medical career in 2010 as a Critical Care RN after he attained his Associates Degree in Applied Science from Gadsden State Community College. While working as a Critical Care RN, he graduated in 2012 from Jacksonville State University with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Wil’s total of 8 years of Critical Care experience as a Registered Nurse was invaluable and served as the catalyst for his decision to become a Nurse Practitioner.
In April of 2019 Wil joined the practice of Doctors Kidney Care. “I felt a calling to return home and better serve the community I know and consider my family. I can’t imagine a better group to grow with because of their shared passion to provide quality care for those in need.”
Wil enjoys spending time with his wife, who is an Occupational Therapist, and family during his spare time. He enjoys watching sports, exercising, and relaxing on the lake or golf course.
